MILAN is one of the more unusual leathers in the Contemporary Leathers Collection. This leather is made from plantation waterbuffalo rawhides.
With its distinctive natural grain MILAN is one of the most individual leathers available in Australia. The slightly higher gloss level is achieved by hand-polishing, one of the old fashioned methods still used to gain such a sophisticated appearance.
As a Semi-Aniline, MILAN has a very fine pigment applied to its surface that increases the leather's resistance to colour change that is caused by exposure to sunlight. This protection also enhances the leather's wearing qualities, without losing its soft handle.
MILAN is available in a wide range of contemporary colours. It has a good sitting comfort and all the natural hallmarks of quality that distinguish it from Corrected-Grain leather.
